Adding your favorite sites to News Feed

Someone asked me how to add their local news site. So for everyone's reference, this is how to do it (using newsok.com as the example):

First go to www.newsok.com in our app by using the address bar. If there is no address bar, tap on the bottom-right to bring up the toolbars. Once you are at the website, tap the "+" symbol and tap "Save Bookmark". Now tap on the home button on the top left. You should see a Bookmarks category on the very bottom of the main screen. Tap on the corresponding bookmark number (probably 1), and it will bring you www.newsok.com.

Thanks for making us the #1 news app. We're working hard on version 4.0 as you read this.

News Addict Vs. News Feed

News Addict
- can't save articles to be read offline.
- has broken links including Huffington Post.
- hasn't been updated since July 09. We update our app every 2-3 weeks.
- can't share links by email.
- lacks a home button, so you have to press back a lot of times.
- can't search on all news sources.
- doesn't contain tech/sports/business/entertainment/other sources.
- only has about 35 working sources.
- doesn't allow you to sort/delete/add your own sources.

News Feed can do all of the above, and has 145 working sources.

Drudge Lite

We are proud to announce that a new Drudge Report app has been developed by us, and it is available as a part of our best-selling News Feed app. Why is it so great? Well, it has no ads. It loads in under a second. And we incorporated the highly-rated News Feed browser inside of it. Take a look at the sneak peak screenshot:

We call it Drudge Lite, because of the minimalist design we created. The app only consists of links and pictures. It's fast because no ads or anything of that sort will be downloaded.

To unlock Drudge Report Lite on News Feed, tap on "Add Bookmark" and then tap "Name". Repeat to disable it.
